A Special Message from ISRA President Don Moran

Dear Firearms Rights Supporter,

I would like to remind you that the ISRA is your organization and it is working harder than ever to protect your rights here in Illinois, both in the legislature and now in the courts. I am sure you know that last November Cook County passed a sweeping firearm ban, and the ISRA has filed a suit in the circuit court asking for an injunction to, first, prevent its enforcement and, second, to overturn it.

If you think these types of actions are important, I invite you to join us at the 103rd Annual Meeting and Banquet March 23rd and 24th, at the Holiday Inn Naper Select, located at Naperville Rd., just south of I-88.

At the “Meet & Greet” reception Friday evening, you will have an opportunity to meet YOUR Board of Directors and share with them your thoughts and ideas. Saturday, beginning at 8:00am, we will offer seminars and workshops which will explain why some things are done the way they are in Illinois. Culminating the day will be a dinner with guest speaker Bob Barr, an NRA Board member and former Congressman of Georgia. For full details and special ISRA hotel room rates, please see our Web site at www.isra.org.

Order your dinner tickets online at our web store or by calling the office at: 815-635-3198. At the same site you may purchase tickets for our triple raffle, with the following prizes.

1.  Springfield Armory M1A - SOCOM II .308 Rifle
Donated by Springfield Armory

2.  Browning Pump Shotgun 12 ga. 3½” chamber,
28” barrel, Mossy Oak New Break-up camo

3.  Springfield Armory 1911-A1 - 5” Black Stainless .45 ACP
Donated by Springfield Armory

Raffle tickets will be mailed to you and you will automatically be entered into the drawing. You need not be present to win.

Join us in Naperville and meet your Board of Directors and see what the ISRA is up to. It is your organization, and now, more than ever, you really need to be informed of what is going on in Illinois.

I’ll look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Don Moran
President
