Training Class at ISRA Range
TCTI Semi-Auto Firearms Basic Certification Course coming to ISRA Range

(3 Days/24 Hours)

This is a 3 day Firearms Certification Course designed to educate and certify officers in combat semiautomatic pistol. Classroom time, lectures and range training will be included in the 24-hour program.

This course is designed with officer development as the primary for the Combat firearm training. The 3-day training course included is to familiarize officers with a suggested course format for pistol training.

Conceal carry is established in most of the states in the US.  A holstered firearm proposes many avenues of positive and negative equations.

Objectives

This certification course is designed to educate the individual in the concepts and techniques.

1.  Extraction of the firearm from a holster system

2.  Holster safety

3.  At gunpoint equations

4.  Semi-auto firearm malfunctions

5.  Tactically reloading

6.  Physiological changes in the body  fear, threats and stress

Successful course completion and certification will include:

** PASS/FAIL EVALUATION CRITERIA DURING THE TRANSITIONAL COURSE
** NUMERICAL SCORE: SHOOTING EVALUATION COURSE (80% REQUIRED)
** WRITTEN EXAMINATION (80% REQUIRED)
** ORAL PRESENTATION: COURSE DESIGN AND JUSTIFICATION

This event is for individuals with any background, including those with law enforcement experience, security personnel, or if you are a civilian.

Equipment Required:

Each student must provide the following:
Quality Semi-Automatic Pistol (current departmental issue or expected issue)
Duty Gear Holster, belt, keepers, magazine pouch
Spare magazines: Minimum 3 magazines per person
Flashlight
Ear and Eye Protection (required)
Note-taking Materials
Ammunition: 650 round, quickly duty-type ammo
