CROSSBOW HUNTING BILL UP FOR CONCURRENCE VOTE IN ILLINOIS SENATE
Please show support for the concurrence amendment in the Senate Ag Committee
Senate Bill 1422 would allow crossbow hunting of coyotes at any time coyotes can be taken with bow.
This bill has passed floor votes in the Senate and House and now rests back in the Senate with a House Amendment for concurrence. If the amendment is adopted in The Senate Agriculture Committee, it will then go to the Senate floor for a concurrence vote, and onto the Governor for his signature.
The concurrence amendment would allow crossbow to be used to harvest deer in Cook County and in six collar counties (Will, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake & McHenry) at any time that deer may be taken with bow.
